XSTINGUISH IS A VERY EFFECTIVE ANT BAIT

Xstinguish is a very effective ant bait in the form of a pale green paste which will control and even eradicate colonies of Argentine ants and some other species of ants. Eradication depends on the whole colony being treated at once.

Xstinguish was originally developed by Dr Peter Davis and his research team from the Department of Agriculture in Western Australia. Landcare Research in Nelson under the guidance of Dr Richard Harris brought the formulation to New Zealand and with the help of Bait Technology started doing field trials. After 4 years of trial work Xstinguish was registered for use in NZ and is available for general use.

A non-toxic version of both Xstinguish and Vanquish Pro is also available for use as a highly effective monitoring tool for ant management.

Powered by Fipronil for Total Control

Worker ants rapidly recruit and feed on the appealing Xstinguish paste and then return to their nest to feed it to nest-mates, queens and brood. The slow action of the tiny quantity of Fipronil in Xstinguish mean that ants don’t know what’s hit them until it’s far too late. The result is total and sustained long-term control of entire problem ant colonies.

Xstinguish is available in convenient 100g and 325g cartridges which are vacuum packed for easy storage and use by both the professional and domestic operator.
